Mission Accomplished!

pheww... Finally i'm able to relieve after such a long wait. It had been a very taxing semester for me. The beginning of the semester i had to train daily for the floorball competition. u can refer back to few posts back to read bout the competition:) after the competition, i started to prepare for the dinner and dance for my hall.

at the mean time, i still need to work for my float (will talk bout this soon...) marketting stuffs. not to forget that i'm taking 6 modules this semester. but actually there were only 4 modules that required me to continuously work hard on them. then the other 2 were an english modules and biology stuff =.=" so the biology modules i just have to prepare before the final exam as no continuous assesment and the english module was more on group assignment, hence after mid semester, we didnt have classes anymore ;)

however, the last two weeks before the final exams, i studied like hell. i restricted myself to sleep for 6 hours everyday (but most of the time i slept for 8 hours. LOL) and tried almost every past year papers. althought i felt that i did badly in my exams, the results came out pretty okay and i achieved the target i set for this semester :D

okay, enough of self praising xD now i need to work hard for the coming semester as now we will specialize into our respective engineering courses and compete with fewer person and so the bell curve will be narrower ><><

back to my holiday stuffs, went to KL with my uni friends last week. had a very nice trip with them all, but sadly i dont have a camera to snap any pictures :( hope i able to earn enough money to get myself a camera by end of the year xD

my holiday left only 2 weeks before i have to go back to singapore for my activity :( suddenly felt that my holiday is damn short xD havent really take enough rest. haha... starting tomolo will sleep 12 hours per day xD

my vacation will be 3 months long, but too bad i have holiday commitment tat requires me to go back to singapore for 2 months :( though it might be a bad thing, after spending one day at home, i felt like i'm very empty, nothing tat i could do... except watching movies and online whole day... all my friends either have short sem now or their vacation havent started yet. so i probably will be bored to death... well, to fully utilise my one month i think i shd start planning my vacation now xD

Things to do for my one month vacation:

2) watch all anime/movies tat i leeched from friends
3) finish Heroes!!! hope tat i can watch supernatural season 3 also ><
4) maybe sleep more? gain some weight before going back to suffer... haha

My Wish List

My vacation is just around the corner. hoping to find a job here in Singapore to earn some pocket money. havent reward myself for making it here, so currently aiming for few gadgets... hehe..

iPod Touch
iPhone is overpriced. iPod touch is just nice for me xD it has great features and good battery life too. should able to last for the whole journey from SG to S'ban. This gadget can be used as a mp3 player, video player, mini gaming console and most important is can surf net without shrinking the website. and can online anywer as long as there are access points. however, i wont listen to songs that frequent and i dont really always go out but need to be keep in touch~ price around RM 850+

Asus eeePC Netbook
Thinking to get a light weight laptop(netbook) to work along wit my gigantic laptop xD since i need to carry it around (attend lecture, group discussion, study in library) so my humongous 17" dell laptop is definitely a no no... but i not really need two laptops xD it will be a redundant gadget if i just stay in my room xD but if i were really to buy, i probably will mod it into a touch screen laptop xD price around rm1000+

Sony Alpha 300 DSLR

HOHO.... This is my primary priority for now, as i somehow really very interested in photography lately although i never really play with photography before xD i not sure whether i able to take really artistic photo or not, so thinking to get a compact digicam first. but even a decent compact cam will cost around rm1k, so why dun just top up abit more and get a better DSLR xD haha... well, i hope i can lay my hand on any DSLR before really buy my own DSLR... but so sad i couldnt find anyone have it here, very few ppl really play DSLR :( price around RM1.5k

But the main problem is still $$. i dun wan to fork out the money from my bank, i wish i could find a job in Singapore and use the money that i earned to buy the gadgets that i wanted. but seems like it is kinda difficult :( nevermind, will try to convince myself with 'desire vs needs' theory again xD

p/s: final exam in 3 weeks time, panic mode on...

EVERYTHING IS OVER!!!

YAH... finally my last activity is over!! well, i organized a dinner & dance for my hall residents. though, the response from the residents were not wat we have expect, but the dinner was still very grand :D our D&D president was so nervous that night that he couldnt even sit down for awhile xD he walked here and there making sure that everything is in the correct order xD Kudos to him for being such a good president and helping my department to run the D&D accordingly :)

honestly, this was the first time that the event that i organized was carried out in such a good coordination, no lagging behind time, no problem in programmes transition, the programmes were able to attract the audiences etc. unlike the gathering tat i organized twice back in my secondary school :x all turned out to be laughing stock :x personally i think although the D&D was still not up to standard, the residents at least were enjoying the moments :)

and now i facing a 'grand challenge' (at least to me) to accept or not the challenge that is detering me to move forward. but i might fail miserably in completing this quest and leave a very bad impression of me to the others... should i just accept it and give it all out? but it is not something that i expertise in ><>< i might mess up everything and not given the second chance :( time to make up my mind~

Deoxyribonucleic Acid

dang... taking a biology module this sem, Gene & Society. At first thought it is a piece of cake as my friend scored an A for this module. But when i taking it, i was totally stunned @@" mrna, trna, dna polymerase, rna primer, phosphodiester linage, glycosidic bond, thymide, uracil, guanine, amino acid, codon, anti codon, recessive, dominant @@" so many stuffs to memorize... well at least i still have some background in DNA, but when studying biotechnology, i'm totally lost in the lectures @@" dunno what the heck my lecturer is talking bout >< wonder how my friend able to get such a good grade... probably is because i dont have STPM bio xD nevermind, study hard will be able to cover up what i lack of... hopefully xD

My Working Space

Hoho... finished my electrical test, suddenly feeling to write something xD well, i didnt really show u guys how's my study look like before. see pics below :

Our study table is actually in L shape, but due to the side is too narrow, i cannot put any reference books besides me when i studying the lecture notes. thus, i have to change to study in front of my laptop. but the laptop is very distracting, i will keep 'referring' to the laptop when i studyig :( have to have more self control >< speaking of my Dell laptop, though it is very nice far gaming and watching movies with the super large screen, but it is making my life damn tough. it weighs aroung 4kg and everythime when i have to carry it back to my home, my back will be aching after i reach my home. besides that, i cannot carry it to lecture theather or to the library because it is too damn huge and very troublesome to carry it as i need my backpack to bring it along with me. u couldnt find a proper sleeve for it yet thanks to its thickness. i wish i able to sell it off and buy myself a
Sager which is smaller but more powerful xD but too bad no one wants a 17" workstation :(

this is my 'bell' type alarm clock that i have here. the ringing is very annoying but yet it still cant wake me up xD i will just switch it off and continue to sleep xD recently i am too generous for letting myself to sleep for more than 8 hours per day. my works are starting to stack higher and higher >< any ideas how to stay awake and wake up when the alarm rings?

i have been not playing pc games for more than a months dy, even i also quite surprised. now waiting to play FEAR 2: Project Origin, but i have no time to play yet :( under utilizing my *beast* xD
